Ionisation Smoke Detectors – These detectors are responsive to fast-burning, flaming fires. They contain a small amount of radioactive material and rely on ionization to detect smoke particles in the air. Ionization detectors are often more affordable but may have a higher rate of false alarms.

Multi-Sensor Smoke Detectors – are advanced fire detection devices designed to provide enhanced sensitivity and accuracy in detecting various types of fires while minimising false alarms.

Heat and Carbon Monoxide Detector – Often called CO Dectectors, are specifically designed to detect the presence of carbon monoxide gas in the air. These detectors continuously monitor for CO levels and trigger an alarm when CO concentrations reach or exceed dangerous levels.

Battery-Powered Detectors – Battery-operated smoke detectors are easy to install and do not require electrical wiring. However, they rely on battery power, which means that the batteries need to be replaced regularly to ensure continued functionality.

Hardwired Detectors – Hardwired smoke detectors are connected to the electrical wiring in the home and may have battery backups. They provide continuous power, but they may require professional installation.
